Transformation Teachers Programme

Tracking our progress through the programme

About Me

What does a CLC Project Developer do?

I’ve worked at the CLC since September 2001, having worked in Haringey for a very long time…… I have taught PE, Maths, Health and Social Care, Business Studies and ICT and covered a range of midle management roles including Head of ICT, ICT Coordinator, GNVQ Coordinator, Head of Sixth Form and acting Senior Teacher.

Since joining the CLC I have had the pleasure of working with staff and students across keystages 2 – 5 delivering a range of projects and CPD. At the CLC we aim to work with schools or individual staff to extend the use of ICT with the curriculum and investigate new and exciting ways of incorporating digital media within teaching and learning.

Over the last three years our involvement with secondary schools across Haringey has been focused on Media support. We work directly with three schools of their GCSE and A’Level Media and Film Studies coursework and have begun to develop DiDA support for a number of schools as well as continuing to deliver the Multimedia Enterprise course that is run for each school during their Work Experience weeks.

As developers, Chris Orme and myself, enjoy working with schools on specialist projects eg animation, 3D modelling , Podcasting inettractive 3D game development and look forward to making more contacts with schools through this programme.

Please contact us at the CLC if you feel that we can help you either in your Action Research or possibly with a project involving ICT in any format that you would like to deliver to a group either at school or at the CLC.
